After previously qualifying as a Dental Nurse at 18 years old, I took an interest in pursuing my education. I trained as a hygienist/therapist and I qualified in 2012, graduating from Newcastle University.
Since then, I have worked in several practices and have a passion for excellent oral hygiene.
In my spare time I like to see live music and festivals, and enjoy trips to the cinema and theatre. FUN FACT – I am fluent in British Sign Language.
Melanie Dixon is a qualified hygienist from Newcastle Dental Hospital and currently works Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I’m a real ‘book worm’ regularly seen with my Kindle!
